    Introduction
There are three different schemes in place in Praha. The other two schemes are:
A low emission zone.
And an access regulation for tourist buses.

Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes need to apply for an individual short term or long term permit to enter the zone.
Vehicles over 6 and 12 tonnes need to apply for a permit in a wider area of Prague.
Euro 4 emissions standards are required to get a permit.

Lorries over 3.5 tonnes (central area) and 6 tonnes (larger area), see map. There are also driving restrictions on selected roads effecting vehicles over 12 tonnes (see 2nd map below).

Short term permits (up to 8 days) and long term (up to 1 year) are available.

How to apply for a permit:

Write a letter with the following information:
• your name
• reason for entering
• destination (in the case of an application for permission to drive buses is necessary to fill out the entire route)
• possible date and time stamp
• type of vehicle
• SPZ / RZ (number plate)
• Identification

The application must be accompanied by:
• copy large technical certificate (pages with information about license plate / RZ and technical data)
• for construction work - a copy of the papers confirming the contractual relationship, building permit or certificate of the investor
• for removals - a copy of the customer order

Send the documents to:
a) Zone over 3.5 tonnes and buses - vehicles in this zone must meet the emission minimum EURO 4!
