The cost to for a permit to access the historic city centre costs 1.5 times as much for pre-Euro 4 diesel vehicles. For more information about the costs go to Perugia-AR.
There is a winter LEZ (10 December - 31 March each year) as an emergency measure after periods of high air pollution, and is not always in operation. When it is in operation, the emissions standards are:
Petrol and Diesel Euro 1
Two-stroke mopeds and motorcycles Euro 1.
All vehicles, including motorcycles.
